1. Do you do destination weddings?
Just as the name, Global photography implies, we serveclientsaround the globe.Popular destinations are tropical venues with beautiful scenery, skies and beaches. Some of the destination we have photographed are Hawaii, Cabo, Cancun, India, Canada, Bali, England, Porto Rico to name a few.
Our expertise in photography style includes High-fashion photography that also paints a beautiful narrative using photojournalism including reportage-style. This includes bridal preparation, details, all aspects of the wedding ceremony and engagement photography,high fashion modern or vintage style andbeautiful portrait-style photos.
2. What are Destination Wedding Photography Fees and Prices?
Our destination wedding photography packages are the same as our regular wedding photography packages. The only additional costs that our clients would be responsible for are: airfare, baggage fees, and hotel accommodations dependent on the length of the event, rental car, vendor meals. Typically, two photographers to cover the events.
3. What if our ceremony is in a different language?
With over 1000 weddings covered by us in the past, we have done multicultural weddings in which their primary languages are not English. We approach situations like these through research, understanding the culture and traditions of the weddings. We also have a talk-through meeting with the couple beforehand and these issues are brought to the table. Finally, our instincts are always alert, that’s how wecapture emotions with our lens on the spot that in turn tell powerful stories. Yogi is Indian and does speaks and understand many of dialects from different regions of India, which makes it easier to follow the different religious ceremonies.
4. What happens if we go over the contracted amount of time?
As a boutique photographystudio, who has been in the business for over 32 years, we know how wedding events play out, but sometimes it does not go as planned.Therefore, our team never pack up before the contracted time, it’s not professional and even when the time is up, we ask you at the end of your contracted time whetherornot you would like to extend the coverage. If you would like us to stay, we will charge the rates specified in your contract.
5. When should we do our engagement session?
You can plan to do your engagement session once you reserve our photography services up until two months prior to your wedding day.
6. Do you provide the Digital files from my engagement session and wedding day and how many?
Yes all our packages come with color corrected full resolution JPEG image download. We have no limits on how many photos are taken at any given event. However, we have never once received a complaint about too few images, but usually we receive comments on having too many images to choose from.
7. How long does it take to get images and our album after the wedding?
Our production time for color correcting and editing all your images after the wedding is 4 weeks. Once the images are ready we will upload them to a private gallery for you to view and share them with your friends and family. You can make your selection of images for your album from this private gallery. (This time will depend on you). Once you submit your selection, we will custom design the album from your selection in two weeks and upload the design online for you to approve. You can make as many changes as you want, and we do not charge for any changes you make. The album will be designed to your likings and once you approve the album design it will take 3 weeks to print and bind the album. (So sooner you select the images sooner you will get the albums. Generally, people say the photographers take too long to give albums, but they forget to mention how long they take to give the selection of their images to the photographer)
The albums are custom hand crafted from the finest quality of photo paper, leather and hard bound pages. They also come with Acrylic photo cover and handmade wooden album box with match image on the box. Here is a link to our albums
